FAQs
How long does a laundry strip out take?
Two to four hours for most residential laundries. Combined laundry-bathroom rooms or large walk-in laundries with extensive joinery can run to a half-day.
Will the floor waste be left intact?
Yes. We don't disturb the floor waste outlet itself unless your plumber is replacing it. We strip down to the substrate around it and leave it ready for the plumber to assess.
Can you remove a tiled splashback only?
Yes — partial strip outs are common. Tell us exactly what stays and what goes at quoting time and the crew will work to that scope only.
Do you handle apartment laundries?
Often. We work across the major Sydney strata managers and provide the lift bookings, work-method statements and induction documentation strata buildings require.
What about asbestos in older laundries?
Pre-1985 laundries are a common asbestos site — wall sheeting, vinyl floor underlay and eaves above the laundry are the typical locations. We hold the SafeWork NSW removal licence.
